Dakota talks about dad Don Johnson

Dakota Johnson, otherwise known as Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades of Grey, is a whiz with flour and sugar. She’s a skilled dessert guru who can see herself having a bakery someday.

Let it be noted that some of her creations are more successful than others.

“I’m really good at baking. I made my dad a cake for his birthday. He was on a paleo diet. He wasn’t having any sugar. This cake was so disgusting. It was bananas for texture, and almond meal and Stevia. It was terrible. It looked terrible.”

She’s referring to her father, actor Don Johnson. But surely her concoction wasn’t so horrible? Actually, make that a yes, she told us. A very resounding yes.

“My little brother, who’s 8, goes, ‘Wow, this is out of this world, on another planet, where everything tastes bad.’”
